This blog will be documenting of my M20 swapped 2002 for repairs, upgrades and adventures along the way. I'm originally from the SF Bay Area and grew up in the East Bay.  I've own this particular 02 since 2000 and picked it up in San Diego.  The M20 swap, the first one, happened in 2005.  It was a fast quick install with little attention to the detail of the how.  Slightly Mickey Moused.  Participated in the Alpine 500, Shamrock and Snow Ball Rallys back in the day.  My 02 was in an accident in 2007 heading South on 101 at Hospital Curve in SF.  Bummer.  Took 5 years to settle with the insurance company, but I got the money to repair the damage.  That same year I moved abroad to work in Germany, then Poland, then Uzbekistan, then Uganda and now in the Netherlands.  The 02 sat in a friends barn for several years and when I landed a job in the Netherlands I decided to bring it here.  Best decision ever.  The 02 is licensed and insured for all of Europe now.  It is a dream come true and the first location abroad I could safely have my car.
