Progress at both ends

The rear end (mostly WRX) is almost fully fabricated and fitted, just exploring whether we can use some std trailing arms or need to custom make some. We're also looking at shock options (possibly MCA ProSports from Australia) and then we'll need to make space for them up into the boot, possibly right up to the parcel tray.

Up front the engine and gearbox have been approximately placed to check room (adequate) and we can start thinking about steering rack, a/c, intercooler, radiator, and all those other bits. Those decisions will inform how much or little of the firewall and tunnel we need to change.

I've ordered a pair of Recaro Classic LX seats and when they arrive we can play with pedal box positioning.

Is it the factory turbo versions of K-series that have exhaust on left side?

This is a factory crate engine from Honda, the exhaust is just visible under the turbo. Its quite a messy engine with pipes and wires all over the show, we're going to try and tidy it up a bit.

You are lucky to have right-hand drive. Solves the exhaust problem.

We still had to remove the steering box to fit the engine in. Fitting a steering rack somewhere is next week's problem.
