I last updated this blog in August 2023 and hadn’t done much since then—until a couple of weeks ago. What got me motivated was attending Katie’s Cars and Coffee in Great Falls, VA, where I got to rip around in my uncle’s 911e.

I joked with my wife that I really wanted a vintage Porsche, but really I just want to get behind the wheel of my 1600. Oh! And seeing pictures of the SCR pig cheek in photos from the Vintage also gave a need kick in the ass.

Photo I lifted off of FB of the SCR pig cheek. (If you took this photo and want credit or for me to delete, LMK.) This car really spoke to me.

I had originally planned on painting the car on a Saturday morning, but I could not fall asleep Friday night. I ended up prepping and painting the car between 3am til sunrise.

Now I’m just waiting on another paint color to arrive, so I can paint the hood and trunk. Still figuring out how I’m going to style it.

I’m really stoked to be at this point. Frequent updates in the pipeline are to be expected, till then…catch ya laterrrr.
