Car was purchased by first owner in Canada. I purchased the car from its second owner in May of 1971. The car has been garaged and loved for the last 39 years. I have been wanting to do a high level restore hence my collection of new period parts.

All service records have been saved – Kuni Cadillac, Salzmann Motors, Boyd Motor Werks, Rasmussen Motors, and Ric Farrar (at Boyd Motor Werks and recently) have all serviced the car.

Engine was overhauled in 1973 by Salzmann Motors.

Engine was rebuilt in June of 1986 by Boyd Motor Werks.

Parts list - not installed (all original BMW parts):

· Front and rear OEM window in original shipping crates

· Front and rear OEM window rubber seals and chrome/silver filler strips

· 1 – back-up generator

· 2 – back-up starter 6 volt motors (1 rebuilt/rewired)

· New extra set of OEM left and right exterior door handles, lock/latch hardware (the exterior door handles installed are new.)

· New OEM left and right window regulators and crank assembly

· New OEM interior door panels with mounting buttons/snaps

· New OEM door handles and wheel covers

· New OEM hubcaps (never been used)

· New left and right OEM front fenders primed

· New OEM left and right front parking lights

· New OEM heater valve

· Exterior OEM chrome trim – both new and used

· Assortment of miscellaneous items/parts

· 2002 front seats with headrests (blue Naugahyde)

Non-stock parts / changes to car:

· Bilstein shocks in front and rear

· Weber carburetor installed – I still have the original Solex carburetor with air cleaner/filter housing and gaskets if one wants it to be stock

· In November of 1989, a longneck sub frame assembly, differential, drive shaft, c/v, half shafts and 2002 brakes were installed by Boyd Motor Werks. I should have original parts that were replaced

· 2002 larger brakes upgrade

Nice! GLWS to your pc-challenged friend! I drove a '67 Sahara 1600-2 recently. (much more patina than this one) It was great fun to drive. I thought it had great character to it.
