Pics from another local car show

Went to look around at the Guaynabo Classic Car Show yesterday. Attendance was not too good, and most of the cars were American muscle cars. After all, the featured car was the Chevy Camaro. The only two Bimmers were an M6 and an E30 set up for drifting (the horror!).

Here are some pics:

Thanks, Jim! I wish I had the photography talent of some here.

IIRC the convertible is a '66. The next big show is in August in Ponce, on the Southern coast of the island. Hopefully I'll go in the 2002, and I will make sure I take lots of pics.

Harry -

That cabrio threw me off. The decklid sure looks like one from a 67 (almost upright tag mounting, 66 and earlier were angled to match the decklid), the front fender curvature looks like a 66 along with the door handles. IIRC, 65 and earlier have square push button door handles, 66 and most 67 have round push button handles, and sometime during the 67 MY, VW changed the door handles to have 'triggers" instead of push buttons for safety reasons.

Here's my old '66 sunroof with Thunderbird glass pack header
