did BMW ever offer simple rubber floor mats?

or Im thinking of buying a roll and just cutting a set!..via Home Depot or the ilk.

what the floor mats looked like. The roundel logo was embossed into the mat with several lines/ridges to hold water/dirt. The mats I have seen were usually a gray rubber.

Im getting some samples of ribbed vinyl....I think Ill cut a set!.... just simple mats......a la the factory Porsche werks cars....
