What's this buzzing noise at @ 2,100 RPM

Whenever I pass 2k - 2.2k rpm I get some kind of metallic buzzing noise coming out of the engine bay. I get it going up and going down the band. It's consistent, happens every time. What could it be now and what can I do about it? Thanks!!

open the hood,

rev up - listen if you hear it while standing over the motor?

exhaust down pipe contacting the floor next to the transmission?

exhaust touching the top of the idler arm bolt?

only happens if your driving the car under load? not

while standing still and reving it?

yup, i can hear it while standing over the motor, only i can't locate it.

it started when the intake manifold was swapped. ever since, buzzing. any likely sources of buzz given that bit of additional info?

Had a similar issue...ended up being a loose screw that attached the exhaust manifold shield.

I had this same issue. My fix was removing the heat shield. Probably not the best idea, but guys who run headers don't have heat shields either... right?
