WTB 320i 5speed speedometer drive gear FOUND

Thanks Ian, Dave, the original seller has offered to replace the missing bits from a scrap tranny, so all is good.

But,....

hold on to those parts, just in case.....

i just discovered today that the 5speed tranny i bought off this board, in addition to the broken clutch slave attachment bolt (that i replaced today) is missing the speedometer drive gear and related bits, shown in the photo below. it appears that this mechanism was removed sometime before shipping as the speedometer cable bolt was still present.

According to real OEM,

the speedo gear drive (one of the pieces that has the gear on it) will fit all BMWs with a manual transmission and speedo cable starting with the New Klass, 2002s, E3s, E9s, E12,s E21, some E23s, E24s and E28s.

The adpator which looks like a sleeve and is the last piece to slide in before the cable came in different flavors. The adapter on the 2002 4-speed is the same as the E21s 4-speed and 5-speed up to 1982.
