Hoping I run on to a few of you old characters from the FAQ today at Schenley Park. I'll be doing some final detail cleaning on a couple cars in the morning, then returning as a "civilian" after lunch. I'm working for Hahn and Woodward Auto Restoration and we've got a couple of interesting cars on display for their owners:

1938 HRG Prototype roadster. Nearly complete after a 5+ year restoration (it arrived at our shop in boxes - as it was disassembled in 1965 by it's owner!) The amount of work these fellas put in to rebuilding this machine is mind blowing.

1965 Pontiac GTO convertible (yea yeah, I know) but it's the most flawless restoration I have ever seen, perhaps. We have 24 man-hours invested in just detailing it.

1972 Morgan. I've been tweaking a few items on it this week for the show.

I'll be the short guy with the goofy grin (and if I'm lucky...a beer) wearing a bright orange H&W shirt... stop by and say "Hi!"

I was gonna go this year, but too many snafu's, breakdowns, and one of our cars got totalled. Not a good time for me to be spending $100's more on top of all that. Focusing on the family instead this weekend. Maybe next year?

Just got back from it, I think there were 8- 2002's, the first show for our pastelblue we just got from Alabama, very hot though, will try to get my daughter to post some pics, I am too stupid, and too old to care to learn. A very good time was had by all, lots of show cars this year, with Audi being the Marque car. I think there were 5- R8's on hand.

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
