Not sure if this has been posted before, but Koller + Schwemmer in Germany can supply KF injection pumps and injectors. Has anyone here contacted them or used their services??

Their website is good and has some video links.

Here are some prices (converted by me):

There are numerous shops that specialize in Kugelfischer pump rebuilding here in the states. I've had my Kugelfischer pump rebuilt by Jerry Fairchild Industries in Redding CA and have had great success with them.

Here's another article talking about a shop that specializes in Kugelfischer pump rebuilding.

Do a search in the archives to find more shops that specialize in Kugelfischer pump rebuilding.

It makes me wonder how many tii's are still left out there, I've got a spare kugelfischer pump in my parts bin, I've talked to many other tii owners and quite a few have one as well.

Thanks for the responses and advice. I actually listed this source to add to the rather small listing of companies here in North America who still service the mechanical injection systems.

My pump was rebuilt by Fairchild Industries (CA) and I have corresponded with Dave Redzus, Jr. (IL) who was very helpful with his advice for my car after I purchased it. His professional rebuild services may warrant me sending him a future KF pump, injectors and ignition distributor. Bill Williams' Colorado 72tii Touring is one example of Dave's work, along with Randy Anderson's Sahara 74tii.

I bookmarked the neat video interview with Gus Pfister a few years ago - hope all of these folks are training a new generation of skilled technicians who can work on these systems.

Yeah, probably time to send in my spare pump & injectors for a refresh. Who knows what my (kids) options will be in 20 years. . .

i can't remember off the top of my head, but it was rebuilt sometime in the late 80's or 90's by a reputable place near lancaster, pa. I have the paperwork on the rebuild (just not at my fingertips) and it looks like it was done well. i have no reason to doubt that it would in very good condition. the guy i bought it from was just one of those guys who was like that. He didn't short cut. He just did it right (he just couldn't finish the car.)

I think Jim's email put a rebuild kfish at ~2,300. i'd use that as a basis, but would work from that number.

Email me what you think is fair. I'm reasonable.

Guys, please write the prices of the rebuilding. And if this is for the pump only or for injectors and other parts.

What are the prices of Jerry Fairchild and BayArea02, H & R Fuel Injection, Mashinter Research Center, Pacific Fuel Injection, Precision Automotive?

The BMW 2002 tii VIN 2719550 was manufactured on July 3rd, 1973 and delivered the same day to the BMW dealer Zeiss & Schwärzel in Mannheim. The original colour was Golf, paint code 070.

Also add one more, Wes Ingram... Ingram Enterprises, his website lists the prices. I have the "sport" tii pump.

i'd be very interested in your opinion of your 'sport' pump. is it differentiated from a standard pump by the addition of the 'brass-rod' that (working off memory), goes from the warm-up sensor to the enrichment lever? from his website, a standard rebuild runs about $850. is the sport pump a higher cost rebuild? care to elaborate?

thanks

I'm interested too, tell me is there a difference between the sport the stock pump. Also i'm interested in the high-performance pump which he offers. I think the HP pump is something similar with the A4 pump...???

Jim G.

Thanks for posting another potential resource for K-Fish support. Although there are probably 3-5 known US-based pump rebuilders, it never hurts to have another source (even if they are in Germany).

Looking through their site, it appears Koller + Schwemmer supports a lot classic car stuff (starters, electrical system, etc.).
