Taiga 72tii on Ebay

Been lurking for some time now and am dying to pull the trigger on an 02, preferably an early model tii. A Taiga 72 tii just showed up on Ebay that appears to be the same one that was for sale on Hemmings some time back. I called the seller and he is some Eastern European sounding guy from NJ that knows nothing at all about the car or its previous owner. In some of the pics it has window chalk on it like it was an impound or something? Anyone here know the story?

If you want a nice car in Taiga, 3nsahalee is selling his. I think it is still for sale. He had it on craigslist seattle.

You can see the car, just search 3nsahalee on the faq i have seen it. it is a nice car.

Appeared on Ebay Dec '06 as pretty much a rust-bucket needing full resto. It was in St. Louis, MO, and the Seller quoted it had 111k miles.

It was then "restored" and painted and put on Ebay again for a "buy it now" of $13k and a stated mileage of 76k.

It appeared next on Ebay from May to Sep '08 being sold by Flemings Ultimate Garage, Rockville, MD for "but it now" $17k to $19k.

The current Seller states original paint, no accidents, no known bodywork. Either he knows nothing about the car or he is being economical with the truth.

Be very carefull.
