FS: Recaro Trophy Seats

This is a nice clean seat of Recaro Trophy Seats. These are the Recaro's that are typicallt fitted to a mid-90's VW Jetta. They're a mixed-grey in color and have no rips in the material what-so-ever. I believe that VW calls the color "Anthracite". The bolsters are still there and amazingly look real good, woith little to no wear. IOn a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, I'd give these a High 8 or 9. They DO NOT come with '02 mounting brackets, so you'll have to source those yourself. All of the trim pieces are included as well. As you're probably aware, these seats feel real nice and they definitely hold you in place. Feel-wise, IMHO, they're better than the E21 Recaro's.

I'd like $275.00 for both + Shipping. ("Depending on where you're located, figure $35.00 - $55.00 for each seat.") Boxes for these, cost $6.00 at the local U-Haul. "Laydown Wardrobe boxes."

I AM willing to trade for stuff that I need as well.

Does anyone know how common or easy/hard to get are the mounting brackets for these seats?

I know the old Recaros from the 320is bolt in with a small shim, not sure of these.

The seats are here on the West Coast. Northern California. About 25 Miles South of San Jose.

I've shipped to NY before. Figure $60.00 a seat + the two $6.00 boxes from U-Haul. Shipped via UPS.

Sadly, back East is pretty expensive to ship to, from where I'm located. :-(

I have a set of recaros from seats that i am selling but when i contacted UPS, they wanted about $200 to ship them from PA to TX. How can you get them shipped for $60? Thx

How low do these sit. The e30 sport seats are definately too high for me. I havent tried the e21 seats yet. I am hoping to get some seats that mount fairly low.

I'm not sure how you come up with that price, but I've shipped these through UPS before and the most I've ever paid, that I can recall, was something like $62.00. That was from West Coast to East Coast.

Prices on shipping have gone up like crazy within the last 60 days better check and shop around......ie greyhound or FEdex

Ken, do you still have these seats? I questioned the mounting last week, as I recently got a 75 2002, and I know little about these cars, and how hard it would be to do this. I am a long time VW Beetle guy, and this is my 1st foray into old BMW's.
