On the classic (formally BMW Group Classic) website there is a survey for BMW classic parts services--look in the lower left corner for "Original BMW parts survey." Here is another chance for us to express our needs concerning parts availability, etc. Anyone know if the majority of 2002 ownership is in the US, or somewhere else (Germany)?

many German cars flunked the TUV inspection years ago and were taken off the road/scrapped.
