Blaupunkt question

I found this blaupunkt radio in my parts. It is a Blaupunkt Vienna. I cant find any info on it and I was wondering what radios were stock and or factory options and does anyone have any info on this radio?

Sorry in advance for the picture quality. My 4 year old son is helping dad take pictures of what he calls "cool stuff" out in the garage.

I wonder when the cutoff date was for the extra "1968" stamp? Mike Self, what say you? (did it have something to do with distinguishing the 67s from 68s due to the new US federal regulations?)

Yes the "1968" stamp was exactly for the purpose of distinguishing that the car must have the new for '68 emissions equipment installed. I believe it was only stamped till August of '68 cars that being the end of '68 production.

As for the Balupunkt Vienna, What a very cool find! It is very hard to find these early radios with the correct mounting brackets. Yours appear to be the brackets for the earlier "chrome dash" center console, the radio is also of a mid '60s era rather than late '60s. (if you ever find yourself wanting to part with those mounting brackets let me know :) I myself have the original AM/FM/SW Frankfurt that came in my Granada '67, but also have an AM/FM stereo version of the Frankfurt that I will be installing and building a "system" around.

You will find an MP3 / line in / iPod adapter for your radio here.... IF your Vienna has the accessory plug in the back. Post a picture of the plugs on the back and I'll help you pick the right adapter out.
