OK

Who want's it? Who's really thinkin about it....?

I just talked to the guy that owns it, I'm going to see it Wednesday am. I'll take pictures. Just to let you know..... I can't buy it now and don't have room for it so I'm going to look at it out of morbid curiosity.

I'll report back.

NOT Taiga, US model, 2800? (edit: starting to look like a later euro 2500 with a Bavaria badge on it. Maybe a motor transplant too. Look no side markers!)

Mintgrun is the original color and has ben resprayed a few times in it's life. It was enthusiast owned before the current owner got it. Hella headlights, under hood is somewhat tidy. Engine does not smoke and starts right up. Doesn't like to idle when it's cold. Zenith carbs. No major oil leaks that I could see. He is daily driving it. Has a BMWCCA sticker on it.

It's rough but how many e3's do you see that are originally Mintgrun?

Worse cars have been repaired.

I'll let the pics tell the story.

Good job John.

Doesn't look that bad. Appears not to have been messed with, except the shock tower patch. Coming from the UK, I think the rust is acceptable. Hey, my Beater's worse than that.

Good that it's not closer to me.
