My kids 'friended' me. I don't hover and they don't get upset w/me. If they want to keep a secret, they're clever enough to keep it off FB so as to keep me in the dark... I'll never know everything they're up to anyhow. They are teens, I am middle-aged; there is a gap just like when I was the teenager.

I'm friends with my mom on there.... but I limited some of her privileges. She can't see pictures when somebody else tags me (who knows where I might end up?).

She's also not allowed to comment on anything of mine, since she tends to comment on every damn thing (and it looks really dumb).

So far she hasn't asked me why she can't comment anything. If she does, I guess I'll just play dumb and say her internet must be broke. Maybe the intertubes are clogged?

My teen kids were given permission to have a Facebook if and only if they added me and my wife as friends.

My 16 year old blocked us a little while later. So I blocked FB through the router settings.

And his phone has no internet. And FB is blocked at school.

After a while they get used to it. I don't respond to their posts but I am in the loop. And if they don't want me know, they keep it off FB.

well after much searching we got him this replacement for his 99 Grand Cherokee. Same milage, but in better condition. This is a 04 . Got it for a few bucks more than what insurance gave us for his 99 . We pocketed 5600 for his 99, paid 5600 plus tt&l for this 04. What a deal
