A quick introduction

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for about 2 weeks now and thought I'd finally join and post. My name is Matt and I live in Columbus OH. I picked up a 1975 '02 that I found up on Craigslist about 2 weeks ago.

The car has been running extremely well for me. The heat doesn't work and the speedometer is off by 8mph but those are both no huge deals for me right now. Only big issue right now is that this past weekend the exhaust snapped right by the 3 bolt bracket.

Hopefully this won't be my daily driver for too long but I'm having some issues with a mechanic and my Civic (LONG story).

Anyways just wanted to say hello and if anyone in Columbus is ever down with grabbing a beer or 2 let me know.

There's a couple of '02 guys around columbus, more active in the dayton/cinci area. That site is good for a general meetup. I'm out around Hilliard.

Speaking of a beer, swing on out to the Winking Lizard off of Bethel road Wednesday night, BMWCCA does their monthly meeting, starting at 7:30. I won't have the '02 out as I'm working on pulling the motor apart, but I'll have another BMW toy.

And all the Cols guys who have posted know of the active 02 group that extends over to Dayton and down to Cincy--and beyond. Lots of fellow owners in your neck of the woods who are willing to help you diagose problems etc.
