they look pretty nice, not quite like the originals, but much better looking than the tii version.

One problem I had, I tried to navigate through the website (even using google translate), and couldn't find a part number or an order form!

I think those look pretty darn good, these guys are the first I have seen to re-make this particular part and as Michael said they do look A WHOLE LOT BETTER than the tii lines on the A4 system which are all funky bent (or stainelss steel...or whatever else folks come up with). The attached linky to my blog shows the OE ALPINA A4 lines, I have to say what they are re-making is pretty dog gone good, suffice to say at 120 Eur. you probably won't have to buy another set in your lifetime.

Just so that we have a picture here of these new lines.... These look even closer to original than BMW's own replacement lines for regular Tii's!!!! Awesome find!

I wasn't planning on dropping 160 clams this month but if there was a group buy I'd like to hear about it.

Heck with enough folks maybe they would drop a few euro off the price!

The more I look at them the more I feel they are gorgeous lines. I also would sell a kidney to have that Alpina 520i too.

I'm weak, I admit it. :-)

German to English translation

Previously been offered by various providers or relevant "hydraulic specialists" often leads with cutting ring. Unlike the case of ball Fischer used 60 ° sealing cone of the connecting nipple, however, have cutting ring on a sealing cone of 24 °. As a result, had the nuts of the cutting rings are attracted to extremely strong, which damaged the connections of the pump-pressure valves and nozzles often. The information included in adjacent picture even with the naked eye visible cracks no exception cases and are often recognized too late. Also visible the footprints of the tube at the bottom. The pressure valve is useless, the damage is enormous.

Such damaged valves or nozzles are no longer tight, even longer for the right lines.

The capillary tubes used by us as the original internal diameter of 2mm.

The partial offered by competitors' steel braided lines ", however, have a diameter of 3.17 mm. While this may at first glance may not seem a whole lot, but results in a volume calculation quite different facts:

In half a meter of our original line just fit 1.57 ml of fuel. In the same length of a "braided line" have been 3.95 ml fuel will be pumped through it at the end of just 50cm long line comes out. This is the two and a half times the volume of the original!

It can probably imagine all that it therefore takes much longer to durchzupumpen resulting vapor bubbles until the engine is running properly after the start. In addition, the steel-sheathed wires heat up much more by the radiant heat in the engine room than the original lines, which allows the formation of vapor bubbles in stagnant hot engine only really.

Do not forget: The lines to the cylinders 3, 4, 5 and 6 are still much longer than the example calculated line (the line to cyl 6 is a little more than a meter.!) Since the problems begin with braided and Co. only so right ....

would like comments on aluminum or steel pipe with 4 mm inner diameter I save here can now calculate each self.

There are also specialists in metal lines with about 2 mm inner diameter (eg, diesel fuel injection lines) of volume, a great thing. One would have to cool only the lines can, because at the end of the fuel is so hot that you could almost leave out the spark plugs. And after stopping at the fuel it begins to boil ...

Alternatively, we provide the original material:

Ready injection lines for ball Fischer - with the original injection nipples, ready cut and pressed.

pre-formed finished, special design for BMW Alpina single choke on M10 engines (from about March 2010 in stock)
