Update as of June 8th, 2011

A lot has happened that I haven't been keeping up with on here and haven't really been picturing either. New carburettor, fuses (to fix a lights out issue), etc. Nothing looks wise has changed so it's nothing interesting. Originally I thought I wanted to do an M20 swap, but I am definitely sticking with the M10 now and possible converting to 318i EFI at some point.

I did go through and clean the engine bay, wash and wax the exterior today. I figure it's nice to show off to someone. Before and after pictures (sorry for the bad "before" pictures).

It really cleaned up nicely, and I still need to go through and really detail it some more since I obviously didn't remove the motor and there are still some trouble spots. Quick picture back in the garage and lookin mean, well as mean as this 2002 can look!

I also inadvertently made a friend and realized '02 fans come from all walks of life.

Yes I am. I actually saw what I thought to be an 02 under a car cover back in Bay Colony... could this be you?

I'm not even 100% sure it was an 02 though, I was just guessing from the shape haha.

That's my old 02. I owned it from 2002 until 2007 -- and was friends with the owner before me as well. Interestingly, I have an m20-powered 2002 now. If you ever want to know more about the history of your car, send me an e-mail.
