A feeler: Yosemite drive - any interest?

wanted to see if anyone might be interested going to this beautiful National Park. $20/car entrance fee. My idea is to meet either in Casa de Fruta (152) or 152 and highway 5.

The entrance to the park is 140 miles from Casa de Fruta and even closer from highway 5. Easy a one day trip. Thinking April.

I am sure the Park rangers don't check for oil leaks or for gross polluters.

I guess some may decide to do that, or stay overnight at one of the hotels, but it is also possible to just go there, spend a few hours, have lunch and back in one day.

I think Yosemite is arguably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.
