Leather seat dye

Recommended Posts

Folks,

The rear seats on my E36 have become split and ripped. I've found a good set of gray replacements, but need to dye them to black to match the interior.

The archive says PPG dye and a Home Depot sprayer are the way to go.

I wanted to confirm that:

1) This is still the prevailing advice

2) A source for the PPG dye.

Thanks!!
