THERE HAS NEVER BEEN SNOWFALL ON CHRISTMAS DAY IN RALEIGH

AS LONG AS RECORDS HAVE BEEN KEPT .

THAT ALL CHANGED YESTERDAY EVENING WHEN IT STARTED SNOWING .

THAT WAS NICE ENOUGH BUT IT HASN'T STOPPED YET !

IT's GETTING KIND OF DEEP OUT THERE .

I HAVE AN E-30 CONVERTIBLE FOR MY DAILY DRIVER NOW SO UNLESS

THEY HAVE SOME SORT OF AN EMERGENCY AT WORK , I WON'T BE GOING IN TOMORROW .

Well, just west of Boston, we are looking at our first real snow of the season. Had a couple dustings, but that is it. Bought the snowblower (Ariens 1126 Pro) in from under the deck. new fuel, clean plug, change oil, greased up, top off gear oil, prime it and first pull it starts. I've had this blower for 8 yrs now and it is just bulletproof. Having said that however, fingers and toes are crossed.

I think this is your second significant snow in the south this years, correct? We have just been getting skirted. Puts you folks in a bad way as you don't have the equipment to deal with it. Hope it warms up for you quickly. That will not happen for us!

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE SOME SNOW PICTURES TO POST ?

We got 1 foot last night, still snowing. Put all the snow equipment on the tractor yesterday, finished just in time. 2 hours of snowblowing and a little shoveling. 2/3 done. I'm saving the worst for later.

Of course, this is a medium sized storm for us up here, but great excuse to close the shop!

NOW THAT's PRETTY COOL !

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SEARS OFFERED POWER SNOWBLOWER ATTACHMENTS

FOR THEIR LAWN TRACTORS , MUCH LESS ENCLOSED CABS .

THE PEOPLE DOWN HERE DON'T HAVE SET UPS LIKE THAT .

FOR THE SNOWS WE USUALLY SEE , IT's OVERKILL BUT IT SURE WOULD

BE NICE TO HAVE RIGHT NOW .

It gets a major work out in the winter months. It took some research to find the size tractor I wanted that also had a thrower attachment. 42" wide thrower clears a nice path. I had to tweak a few things to make it work well. I love it.
