Gas tank rubber filler neck for 71 and later cars needed

2double02

Recommended Posts

I have one that is in good shape. It came out of a '71.

The rubber is fine but has some scuffs from everyday trunk use.

Thanks for the reply Josh. Mine has a flange that attaches to the quarter panel with four screws unlike the one in the pic that has a clamp.

There was an early 1971 model and a late 1971 model 2002 with some distinct differences. The filler boot may be another one to add to the list- 6 fuse/12 fuse, long bumpers/short bumpers, etc...

The short boot that you need is available new. If you buy used, give the part a squeeze and check for cracks especially on the underside.
