4 speed or 5 speed tranny

4 speed is cheap and you can do the swap in a day. Good 4 speeds run under $100. Dont pay more than that! 5 speed is much more work and time. Do research first. 5 speed conversions can run from $700-1500 depending on condition. Figure out what you want to do, how much your willing to spend, and how long you want the car to be off the road. Sweet original looking ride though!!! Looks great

I would really love to do the 5 speed conversion. I have around $1000 to get this done. I have someone lined up to do the install for $400. So if I can find a tranny and the parts to do the conversion for around $700 I think I could swing it.

I would be stoked to find someone who has a tranny and all the parts needed.
