Wiring harness color/colour combinations

Hi Guys.

I'm getting ready to build a new harness for my car. I have several wiring diagrams and the colour ident chart. However this doesn't give all the colour/color combinations used in the harness. I have made a list of what I can see but would like to check it before I order the wire..

Has anyone else gone thru this before and have a list of all the combis used.

Ie.

Red

Red/Black

Red/White

Green

Green/White

Even more use would be the wire guage and length..

It's a long shot I know.. any info would be greatly appreciated..

Here's the pages for my Touring.

The colours used should be the same for all models, and (at least for the Touring wiring) the combinations etc.

The wire gauge is shown also...ie 0.75 BR-SW. I assume it's a German wire standard.

Hopefully, the pics should enlarge enough to read them.

Here is the German wire size to AWG equivalent:

.5mm = 20AWG

.75mm = 18AWG

1.0mm = 16AWG

1.5mm = 14AWG

2.5mm = 12AWG

4mm = 10AWG

Color Codes:

BL - Blue

BR - Brown

GE - Yellow

GN - Green

GR - Grey

RT - Red

SW - Black

VI - Purple

WS - White

And, a reminder that in Europe, for example, 1.5 is written "1,5".

Thanks for the replies guys.. What I was really after was all the color combinations used. I have the key to the german abbreviations and I want to order the wire to match the originals.. I went thru the drawing and have about 30 combinations.. ie. Brn , Brn/Green, Brn/white, Brn/violet.

Just wanted to compare my list to another guys to check I had't missed anything.

Thought it might have been a long shot ..
