where can i get a new wood board for my headliner?

Broke the wood board that holds the rear of the headliner in place, anybody know where i can get a new one? Thanks

about the only way i know to find one is put a call out on the 'parts wanted' forum...you can probably repair it with fiberglass from your corner parts store and a bit of sandpaper

if you can't find one, i have one in mint condition i could be persuaded to part with for the right price

I did the same thing. I said fuck it and installed it like the front. Just glued the headliner over the lip where the back windshield rubber goes. Mine looks great with no ill effects. No leaks etc...

if you want to save your broken board, merely cut a patch sheet of thin stock aluminum, and use 5 minute epoxy to glue it over the crack. use some c-clamps or similar to hold secure until dry.

you might have to judiciously shape it to match the contour of the board, towards the ends. glue the aluminum such that it is on the side towards the roof. your patch will be stronger than the parent material.

i've used aluminum patch panels and epoxy to fix cracked heater boxes and under dash panels. nobody will ever know. it is a discrete repair.
