The engine has a 121 head with casting date of March 1972, but no KF pump and intake. I did not check the block for matching numbers.

I was not able to fully inspect this car since I needed to head to the airport. I'll inquire with the current owner if I can. The dash was cracked and the clock was still in place. I think the trunk floor was gone.

i'd say any VIN lower than 1000 has a certain cachet about it and worth a second look. anything's possible and i'd hate to see this car dissolve into the earth. if it retains its original motor, extraordinary measures to save it are encouraged. i'm in the process of saving 440 and it's in pretty bad shape. i'm midway through a complete DS framerail replacement.

someone, tow this hulk home and put a good car cover on it. then decide.
