I created that line back when I was selling shirts out of my Houston apartment (via small-space ads in the back of the Roundel) in the early 1980s. Here's a pic with my (soon-to-be) wife and I packing the truck and the 2002 and heading to Boston in 1985. I probably sold only about 150 shirts in a three year period. Classic stuff that lives on...

When I got my 1602 I was trying to put the first number plate it was registered with. As in Victoria, Australia you can roughly pick the year/month of car by the number plate letter/number sequence. But the car was first registered in Western Australia and they have different number sequence. So I asked the guy if BMI-602 was available, so for an extra $50 I had that plate for a few years. Before I went to cheaper club plates. I even got to keep that plate number, if I ever want full rego again.
