1976 BMW 2002, Automatic, jump-start project car

1976 BMW 2002, Just shy of 160K miles, Automatic transmission.

Bought this car in May of 2010 and have since have spent over $5K slowly fixing what needed to be replaced (and have the receipts to prove it). Interior is in good shape, original headliner with no tears, seats in good hape as well. Body is in decent shape, no major dings or dents, one minor rust spot near windshield. I never got around to replacing the belt trim which the next owner should do as it will really make a big difference.

Long story short, I no longer need a car and want to pass it on to someone who loves these cars and wants to take it to the goal line. This is not a show car, but more of a project car with potential. I know I'll never get back what I've put into it, so I am asking $4,995 OBO. I am located in SF, CA. am intrested in the car. can you tell me how the floor pans look from underneath, and about the chassis tub in general, does it look solid from just looking at it...thanx...NC from NEPA
