Name that car challenge

The yellow car with the huge taillights in the background. What is that? I can't figure it out, and it's bugging me. I was just trolling ebay for local vintage bikes, and saw it. I figure it's probably old and british based on the other cars, but I just can't place it.

Looks a bit like an Avanti, just the wrong end.

Yup, the GT2. I've seen a couple of the first GT's around here before, but don't think I've seen a GT2 though.

Strangely just down the road from my place there's an Opel GT sitting outside at an apartment complex. I saw it being hauled in behind a U-Haul, and It took me a while to figure that one out. I figured Bradley at first for it, but nope. I haven't seen it on the road yet.
