Looks great Al. Im an e30 guy at heart. I think I will always own a couple.

you lose a bit of the light feel when you throw an m5x/s5x in it but its so worth it. Drive it as long as you can with the m42 cause its fun but then do a 6 and boost it

My ultimate goal is to transfer the M42 to one of my 2002 shells while to install a S50X variety in 318is. But it will be a while..need to sell many seat belts to achieve the ultimate..First update to be performed this weekend is to put some EVO style red seat belts in her..

Come on over to the dark side, bluedevils...

I am moving in that direction (the dark side) slowly, with help from Steve for parts. BTW, Steve and Deila, what size of your e30 rims? The 15 inchers currently on the car are tiny and skinny need to update.

FWIW, factory-issue basketweaves are 14".

Mine are 15" x 7" Factory-issue "Style 10" wheels. Also called "Spokes". These were apparently only offered toward the end of E30 production and here in the States most often dealer-fitted to the cabriolets.

I purchased four used and had them refinished. Mounted Dunlop Direzzas, but they are a bit dicey in the wet.

Ordered a spare from BLUNT as they still available new (~$300. ea. in 2009). Fits in the spare tire well just like factory.

Easier to clean than those basketweaves. Center covers ($18 ea.) fit other wheels of the era for 5-series cars.

These also look pretty nice mounted on 2002s.

That is, if you have one.

Maybe BLUNT can do a "group-buy" for 318is and 2002 owners. Then we can ALL enjoy the virtues of 15" wheels that fit. Jus' sayin'.

Cool. I can sell the basketweaves or put them in a 2002. I like the Alpina style wheels like those in the silver car (on your right).

Those are REAL 16" ALPINA wheels. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I love mine. I used the Mark D 91 chip H&R sport springs (they are specific to the 318) Billy Sports and M3 bushings. It's a great car. I have gotten 29mpg in mixed driving.

One of the best BMW's ever made.
