It is one sweet car. You will not find one that has been more pampered yet driven for the last 27 years. Sam treats his cars very well (garaged, covered, maintained religiously) but drives them like they are meant to be! Super guy.

That is the plaque from 02-02-02. I was fortunate to have attended that event at the BMW factory in Spartanburg.

I found that on ebay several years ago. I have only seen 1 other 1 for sale in Germany about 8 years ago and it was expensive!!

I tried to buy one out of the UK last year but it was several hundred dollars plus the shipping was over $100 due to size....I'd love for someone to reproduce a box just like this.

It is plastic and it fits snugly over the top of the shock towers.

Hmmm. I bet it could be reproduced using 3-D printing, and I'd imagine there'd be plenty of interest here...
