funny you thinking the "Doctor" is the 'old guy' ?!?!?!?

I was present when his father was running.

The "Doc" is just a kid.

Age is relative CD. I didn't mean old like you, (and me). He is old in relation to all the other guys running at the pointy end of the grid. Only Colin Edwards and Loris Capirossi are older than Rossi, and I can't see either of them winning a race this year.

I believe you were around also when I took the shot below.

What does that tell you?

great starting grid shot! = looks like Yvon Dutumble (because he crashed so much!) is sitting on Kenny's TZ,

and the red/black leathered arm poking in the

right side of the photo belongs to Skip Apsland

The fellows standing next to Kenny are mechanic Trevor Tillberry(?),

and to KR's left with the curly hair is Yamaha boss Ken Clark.

Great period for racing

if that's Mosport, and 1977 or 1978 - that's the day that Mike

Baldwin beat the rest of the field aboard his own privateer

TZ750 Yamaha

Mike Baldwin and I are mates - racing together at the begining,

then I worked for Mike as a wrench during the 1985 season in Europe

and US - the Double Year for Fast Freddie on 250 & 500's.

Much thinner fields today , but still a few brave men leading at the front

to be sure.

this one of me in a AAMRR club race Thompson, CT.

on my TZ250-D (#22)

#17 is a Canadian who's name I can't recall,

and #60 is the 'the other Baldwin" from Canada,

Miles Baldwin
