The price is probably high, but does this at least seem like a reasonable ballpark figure with the upgrades if it is truly "rust free"? I am totally unfamiliar with these cars, but I figured someone on here has to have some experience. Cosmetics are not important as it is a restoration candidate.

If it's rust free and the body is in good shape. That one has dents visible from a small photo taken probably 20 feet from the car so it's probably got tons of work. Nothing is rust free, just like the 2002's, there is always some cavity of rust.

Volvos are not worth that much so you should be able to pick up a good rust free 122 with decent paint, running, for $4000. Those "upgrades" in the ebay list amount to maybe $400.
