I SAW ONE IN KNOXVILLE , TN . WAY BACK IN 2008 .

THEY HAD SENT A COUPLE OF THEM OVER TO TEST DRIVE AROUND

THE COUNTRY . I WAS IN THE RIGHT PLACE @THE RIGHT TIME .

IT HAS SPECIAL "MANUFACTURER" LICENSE PLATES ON IT .

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CAR .

I HAVE YET TO SEE AN OFFICIALLY IMPORTED ONE .

Should it be the Polish are coming? I believe they are being made in Poland.

Norm

" And it is coming to you from a Mexican plant that until recently only made Chrysler products. But will you care that it’s a Fiat?"

According to news reports. In actuality the parts come from all over the world and is probably made all over the world too, including Poland. I would love to have a new small italian car, just not that one.

The older guys were thinking, "Damn. I gotta work on Fiats again?"

LA is one of the first launch points for the FIATs, earlier this year. I had a chance to go see them at the Chrysler training center in my district before they officially launched, but missed the window of oppurtunity.

I'm holding out for an Abarth model.

  • 2 weeks later...

My wife spied a caravan of (8) Fiats today. She said there were (6) old and (2) new ones in Old Town Alexandria today. They were roaming along Union Street, turned down Prince Street and then came back down Union. By the time they went by her store, she wasn't able to capture them on her iPhone.

She said "They were so cute"....

BLAST THEM FIATS - I was driving the tii today.
