I would guess the rust bubbling out at the rear of both front fenders might be an impediment to a quick sale also. Where there is some that you CAN see, there is definitely more that you CAN'T.

Anyone know what kind of wheels those are, though?

The wheels are 11 spoke Hartge made by O.Z., they look like 14x6, et 30, which mine are. Fit E30s and were available in the mid 1980s.

They are hard to find, yet do show up from time to time.

it's a free market guys...

That's right, and it means that I can (and did) still write to the seller to ask what work has been done in the last few days that might justify the $10,000 price hike. I may have included a link to the auction for the same car that ended at $2750.

For that kind of dough, you would think the dealer would at least splurge on a new Esty trunk mat that fits! Sheesh!

For that kind of dough, you would think the dealer would include a lot more than a trunk mat.....

My friend bought the car. He didn't pay anything near 13k. Hopefully the shock tower isn't as bad as you guys mentioned. What's funny is that I also have a 1976 '02 in Fjord Blue. The car is coming to the NY area for anyone that wants to drive with us.
