Car worth?

Hello, I'm planning on buying a 1600 soon and I've found this one. I'm new to these types of cars and wanted to know what you think this general one is worth without knowing the price. Thank you!

Description:

Very rare 1967 BMW German import with original CA black plates, for those who know about cars, black plates are hard to get and also this year Bmw is the best and rarest. It is an all original car expect for its high performance low profile tires and katana racing rims, bought new for $2000. This car has a one year old expensive black paint job, paid just under $4K for. The interior is flawless all original interior, chromed out bumpers and accessories. This car also runs fine with no problems shifts perfect and pops right into gear and rumbles, it has small gas efficient 4 cylinder 1600cc but perrs beautifully. I have gone well over 100 mph on this and also gives me about 40 mpg. You can keep this car as a nice original classic cruiser or also make it into a euro race car because these are incredible race cars, this is what they use in Europe as race cars. They are very light weight and with the right suspension these cars run incredibly.

Ill have to pull the bull shit card on 40mpg. 25mpg tops... Looks clean but keep in mind that it was not originally black. Sniff around and search for rust and bondo. No licence plate lites??? No door pulls? No windshield wipers? I could see someone paying $3000 but im guessing the guy is asking much more than that.

Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well!

Seller has been trying to pass it on for almost a year now.

He wanted $5000-$6000.

Get rid of those God awful rims, put the small parts on that are missing and lower the price to $2500 and it might sell.

are you buying lic. plates ? or a car ??

hidden rust trumps everything else

have an experienced 02 person look at the car with you

he'll point out to you (not to the seller) all of the problem

areas. Factor in that the seats are badly stuffed and you can't

drive these cars sitting on a pillow.

There are way too many points to know about to just simply ask

if this is a good buy? or how much is it worth. Only you know

how much money is in yer pocket, and how much to you

is not much to pay for a very old car

that is NOT O R I G I N A L .

Then you need to road test the car - for a min of a half hour,

on the highway, stop-n-go city, parking in tight space -

you need to know before you bring it home what your in for.

without looking more under the car, or under the hood?

no price given here.

this is what O R I G I N A L CONDITION looks like ::

Oh come on now. Any 1600 that "perrs beautifully" has to be worth big bucks.
