1975 2002 street/race car project, 90% complete

1975 bmw 2002. I was turning the car into a vara legal race car but have decided to go another route. Zero rust desert car that is freshly painted flat black inside and out. Would need a roll cage, harnesses, a fuel cell, side windows and a tune up/carb cleaning to be a race ready car for vara atleast.

Parts Break down:

As for my car it runs and drives but i think its sat so long the carb needs to be gone through as it doesnt like to stay running until its warmed up. Stock motor(as far as i know) with a weber 36 carb and some performance ignition.

All the following is brand new with 0 miles:

rabbit bilsteins in shortened housings with coilovers

adjustable camber plates

new wheel bearings

ireland volvo big brake kit with tii master cylinder

stainless lines

boxed front control arms

all poly bushings everywhere and motor mounts

ireland swaybar kit front and rear

braced and welded front subframe

custom side exit stainless exhaust

solid rear subframe mounts

boxed rear trailing arms

adjustable toe and camber kit for rear suspension

bilstein sports in the rear

stock rear drums with new pads and cylinders

ireland stage 3 springs

13x5.5 e21 mesh wheels with new tires(sumitomo)

lightweight race battery in trunk

sparco sprint seats, 1 brand new, 1 used custom seat brackets

brand new momo steering wheel with hub

h4 headlight conversion

very clean euro turn signals

body has shaved trim holes and shaved side marker holes

fiberglass hood

Brand new flat black paint job done with hot rod flatz paint( i painted it myself, only a couple noticeable run spots

comes with a box of small parts for the interior and some misc stuff.

Price is $5000, anybody looking for a race car save your self some serious money, your basically buying the parts and getting a car for free.

Located in long beach ca, willing to ship at buyers expense, registration is current and title is in hand, hate to see it go but new project forces sale.

Have you weighed the car ever? Once the car starts and runs a bit does it run fine?

i have never weighed it but im guessing its right around 2000lbs. The car runs ok once its warmed up but its hard to get it to start and then sometimes it likes to stall. I know the car had been sitting for a long time so im sure that the carb needs to be cleaned and probably plugs and wires and a time job.

Any idea on shipping costs? Sorry, I'm from Wisconsin and looking to find a nice project...but 2400 miles is a long way to drive or trailer...so the shipping or finding something local and building is a big issue.

NICE CAR....I WAS WONDERING IF YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT SIZE TIRES ARE THOSE? I LIKE THE LOOK OF THE WHEELS AND TIRES AND WOULD LIKE TO GO WITH A SIMILAR SET-UP ON MY 1971 BMW 2002.
