can you make a homemade hazard lights?

hey my car does not have a hazard light

i was wondering if there was anything that i can do as far as throwin something together to make my lights hazard?

haha thats a good one but is there a way to tap into the lights that are there and run some sort of relay?? with a switch maybe? im just wondering what light wires to tap into and where.. what is the name of the relay if there is one..

Assuming you are talking about your 2002, then it would have come from the factory with a hazard switch wired to the lights. Take a look around the console area for wires connected to a round terminal.

ya where the hazard lights usually are.. its all gone.. no wires or anything the center piece was taken out ... if there was a way to find the wires or where they go maybe i can get another switch?? idk i suck at reading the electrical language in the book -_-'

That would be strange if that was gone. The turn signals work through that switch.

I'm with Bill. There has to be a bundle of wires under the dash, maybe even the switch. Everything passes through that thing..

On early cars the Emergency flasher switch was in the depression to the left of the instrument cluster. Might look around there too.

thanks ill look under there i do have a used switch and there is a ton of connectors on it.. so now... to find a wire..

what is this red nob on the left of the cluster next to the door its faced upward it pulls up and down and doesnt do anything..?

ok some one told me that was the "choke" but since a previous owner converted to 32/36 it didnt apply.

im curious to what that is and what it does and how to get it working

cuz i havent seen it anywhere in the book or the net.. specificly

ok sweet!!! now... how to get it working cuz.. all my fuses are good.. and i pull it up...nothing... is there a relay like the turn signals had???
