Well the mileage is most likely incorrect since that is a late model gauge plate and dials. Nice car nonetheless, I like how the starting bid is the same solid exact amount as the NADA 'average' appraisal.

For that money i would want a perfect car, including a straight rear bumper. Maybe they think it will sell by putting it on those two magic carpets.
LOL!

Lower trim is screwed on. Steering wheel is from a late car, instrument is from a late cluster, door panels as well. All that being said, if I had the money I would buy it and fix that other stuff. It is a Taiga!!

Back at the scene of the crime!

It started its Ebay life in St. Louis in Dec 06, as a dinged rust bucket. It didn’t sell so it was “restored“ and put back on Ebay Nov 07.

Then it appeared in Rockville, MD from Jan to Sep 08 and then on to Teterboro, NJ sep 10, and now back in St. Louis. All the ebay sellers were Dealers.

Nice to see the red/white reflective strip under the rear bumper has finally been removed.

PS the first ebay listing in 2006 stated it had 111k

I looked at this car in Maryland a little over a year ago. Looks like they removed the reflector strip, but left the dented rear bumper and screwed in rocker trim.

Now, I wouldn't poke fun at anyone for owning this car, but it's damn sure not worth $20K. I'd value it around $5K, seriously.

Also, notice the thick bondo in the trunk.

No one ever corrected the deficiencies from the original sale.

Okay, I'll bite. What are the deficiencies that should've been corrected for this car? It looks pretty nice to me. Granted, it seems way overpriced...

Anyway, just trying to learn more about tii's (or '02's in general, I guess).

try some forum searches on "tiaga and tii" or various other combos. numerous previous threads from when it was for sale other times that go into minute detail on this thing.

Nice flips on these dealer cars, seems like they get the proper bids as well, and sell quick. Ask is at 19K, already bid up to 17K.
