Does anyone have any background on the 1972 Taiga Tii listed on eBay? It looks like a hot little car and I've seen it before on youtube.

Is $19,900 a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance for any info!

This topic has been well-written on in this forum; search "tiaga" and you'll find numerous threads. The consensus is that for what they're asking it should be a correctly restored '02, and it ain't.

Be sure and look at all the posts including the link some history on the car.

Be careful on this one. I am surprised it has bids-someone is going to be disappointed.

I was one of the people who tried to buy the car from the owners in st Louis mo a few years back. The day I called, they told me they just sold it that morning for $800. Their asking price wad $1500. They told me that the car was too rusty and that it sat for a number of years and that is the reason they sold it so cheap. Looks like the current owners surely spent some money to bring it back but still $19000??? Too much in my opinion specially when the color doesn't match the original taiga green yet.
