Will the front sway bars from a 79 320i fit a 76 2002? they look like they will. Have a chance to get the bars from a pick & pull. Has anyone done this swap?

The 320i has threaded ends, and doesn't have the correct shape. Even if it could be made to work, you'd want to use a thicker 'iS' bar.

But, apparently an E12 (early 5 or 6-series) front bar can be made to work. Someone posted a pic here in the last week or so of one on his 02. I'm going to try that.
