still debating what to do with the 76' that i just bought.

I gathered all the missing parts to make it a complete car.

Now i need to figure out what to do with the engine:

A- sell the car as is without an engine and/or parts to make one

B- sell the car with a smoker (might not be that bad after all)so the car would be a runner

C- sell the car with a fully rebuilded engine with a higher selling price

I cannot afford to spend too much time on that car, it defenitively worth saving to me

-oem BMW wheels

-oem sunroof

-2 new doors

-2 new fenders

floors has been fixed long time ago not very well, need to pass inspection, has legal papers.

humm....

Well, sounds like you definitely want to sell, in which case, I don't think you will recoup the cost of a 'new' engine (#C).

If it were me, I'd do the thing which is the least hassle for me.

I might 1st try selling it 'as is' for a good price (there's nothing to feel guilty about in making a couple bucks), avoid low-ball offers.

If no joy, try it as a smoker.

If time is on your side, don't rush just to sell it, be a little choosey.

Cheers!

i defenitively want to sell it, it was meant to be a parts car at first but i found it too nice to part it out. Current motor is/was seized and not reusable at all. I got plenty of short blocks that i can just bolt back a head and make a runner.

Car will be somehow complete if i sell it so it may be a nice project for someone that just want a usable 02.

Finish the rebuild and keep it. Once you have it running you'll never want to sell it .

I am always sorry I sold my 72tii and my 74tii.

the bugger as it is, after its first wash-up after 16 years of storage...not too bad hein ?

note the "wrong" nose clip, and the loose fron acordions (not bolted to the fender, lol)

wheels miss some lug nuts too here and there, but there a bunch of them in the trunk.

that's a good looking car from this perspective. i'd suggest getting that rusted no.2 cylinder free and do what it takes to get the existing motor to run then sell the car with one of your spare engine blocks included.

you don't want to spend too much time or money on it according to your comments. you'll never recoup any extra money on it unless you were to spend the time to part it out, but it looks too nice to do that.

Looks good, love the wheels. I'd say if you have time get it running and sell, or see if someone wants it as a project with the parts to get it going.

i am in the process to fix some dents under the hood, and will slam dunk a working motor in there and will sell as is as a project, with all its parts (complete)

i realy need to have this one go out of there...any offers will be considered.
