Injection is superior to carburetion, from ANY perspective.

aesthetics are subjective!

I agree. Would you rather look at a fuel rail or these bad boys?

Aesthetics are subjective, that's true. But comparing a triple weber to a fuel rail is like comparing multiple throttle bodies to a single barrel solex with the air cleaner on top.

I am still waiting to see if this barn-find 2002 we are waiting for has "pretty" carburetion or just the common plain-looking kind.

injection is supperior to carburetion... on pavement/in theory

yes you will get some more power, and better economy

i like the simplicity, too much stuff to go wrong with FI

when im beatin my truck acrossed untamed fields or down 2-tracks im glad theres only 1 gas line with a tenth the pressure and no wires.

and yes the edelbrock is beautifull.

Keep armor all away from it. John

+1 to that....just becasue Armorall spends tons of money on advertising doesn't make it any better! It's lousy stuff, unless they've upgraded it. Use Vinylex on your vinyl interior.....you'll be glad you did.

SOT, but i used to use armorall for my tires, but they changed the forumula. it's more gel-like now and the shine is very dull compared to the old stuff. and even says "original forumula!" on the bottle. ha! gotta find something else.

I don't know if it has been mentionned before, but the 2002 odometer doesn't register past 99,999. After this marks, it returns to zero. Therefore, unless the mileage has been meticulously documented for the past 40 years, that low mileage can well be 118,000, or 218,000 miles. Or the cluster could even come from another car. Always be skepictal of declared mileage. It is the oldest trick in the automotive world. ;-)
