I would guess, judging from the company doing the auction and also the pics, that this is an insurance loss, so it's hard to know if the car is worth restoring.

Not necessarily, Copart has a bunch of dealer and wholesale consignment cars, I know a friend of mine runs his lien vehicles through IAAI which does the same type of business. If it has a clear title, then it is not an insurance loss (or salvage) vehicle.
