the color is pretty nasty, but they're great vehicles if used for their intended purpose, just not on the street. They're head and shoulders above the H2's and H3's.

I lusted after them as a kid, then sat in one when I was ~10. I don't know how a full size adult fit in those seats... I'd rather have a volvo C303, but that will probably never happen.

yes but a 100,000 dollars vehicle with silverado u joints, the electrical sistem with domestic grade connectors and cherokee brake pads...!!!!!! it's too much. !

Never understood why anyone would buy that vehicle. As the Exec Officer of the 1st Sqdn, 10th US Cavalry, I had my own HMMWV as well as my assigned UH-1H Huey. The damn thing was uncomfortable, slow and difficult to maneuver. I flew myself in the Huey if I ever had to go anywhere in the training area, and left the Humvee in the motor pool.
