Fellow FAQers son named as one to watch in Tour of Cali

Just reading through my issue of Bicycling. Article on the Amgen Tour of California. Riders to watch..."young American climber" Kiel Reijnen is named.

Kiel's dad is here on the FAQ. His dad says Kiel owns a squarie that is in storage while the bike racing takes priority.

Shout out to Kiel when the race comes through your town. I'll be driving the back of the caravan. I'll make sure he gets nowhere near the broom wagon.

Look for the CHP vehicle with a "C-10" sticker on the window. Our trucks will usually be parked right behind him. Start that day is at 1145a. Get there a little early to stroll by the team buses. Usually a good chance to score some freebies, maybe a hat or bag. Having a cute kid in tow will increase your chances of free stuff.

Too bad they are not doing skyline this year . it would be cool to go see the individual time trials in Solvang.

I watched the race yesterday on the corner of 18th & P st in downtown Sacramento. These guys are going so fast around that sharp 90 degree turn that the support motorcycles were scraping their foot pegs. Go Team SKY

I got the guy dressed up in a "Clean Bottle" costumn to hold my beer.

I had a meeting right in the middle of the day yesterday so I had to miss them as they rolled through Folsom. I've seen some good pictures, though. I hope they get some better weather for the rest of the stages.
