David is my first name. Grice is my middle name. Jackass is my nickname.

Geez - I guess us NCC'rs don't really know who you are. Multiple witness protection programs? Too many blows to the head? Wake up after in the hospital and when asked "who are you" - your reply is something different each time.

This pic makes me think you are doing a Jack Nicholson impersonation for The Shining.

Anyhoo - Grice is good enough for me.

I installed mine today.

My duct tape (very sticky) didn't hold the button in so the gear fell out while trying to install the handle.

I switched to some tough masking tape

At first, I tried slipping the new bearings into place without removing the handle - no way. The handle must be removed so the bearings can fit over the raised collars of the handle.

The spring-loaded rod and pivot pawl takes some messing with if the gear falls out. You must insert the gear into the handle, then push the button down and rotate the pawl around so the teeth engage the gear. After I got the handle ready, I taped the gear to the side of the handle so it wouldn't fall apart when I pushed the handle into the tunnel brackets.

This upgrade made a big difference in my wobbly lever.

Electircal tape works well to hold the button down. I didnt read the instructions so mine went flying across the car....
