that was grice's car. they broke a tie rod on a mining road in WV on the way here. safety wired it for rest of trip and changed it in lot before start of rally sat.

the other broken red car is my m2...we were replacing the alt bracket bolt in middle of nowhere on the rally/tour route.

what state is this event at ? Is this event the same time every year? Whats the farthest you have seen someone come to go to this event. Maybe next year I will ship my car to Cali from hawaii then go cross country.

The cars look really phenomenal - who knew how many unique variations on a theme there could be?

This event turned out great! To all those who doubted (and I was secretly one of them) this is better than the others. The hotel did a great job handling us. The parking lot was big enough even with repairs going on and car washing. Excellent food, beer, and wine were all available and in walking distance. Outdoor dining at Senior Bravo right across the street is very hard to beat.

Anyone find my brand new blue BMW hat in the breakfast room? It was less than a week old. I took it off when my wife sat down and put it on the back of the chair.

Great pics! Reminds me of all the great times I had there the past couple of years. Maybe next year things won't be as hectic around here and I'll be able to get away for a four day weekend.
