A real clean 318is in MSP went for north of 9K about 2 years ago. Another 318is sold for 7.5K about the same time in Lancaster PA. These cars in well maintained, clean, rust free shape are getting harder and harder to find. Just like our 2002's. 9K? Yea kinda steep but I haven't seen the car. If it's as advertised it should be worth it as you couldn't re-create it for less.

I was the lucky one to drive this car to my home in Wisconsin. This car is absolutely everything Tim claimed it was. I shared the thoughts of many others here about the steep asking price. But i've had a really hard time finding good clean E30s out there. And I've seen worse cars out there with much higher asking prices. About the only complaint I have with the car is the CD player skips a bit when hitting bumps on these midwestern roads and such a stiff suspension. But seriously this car is about as mechanically sound as it can get without a ground up restoration. I'm shaking my head while flipping through all the receipts of all the work that had been done to the car just within the last year. Tim I can't believe you put this much money into a car only to let it go shortly after. The E28 you picked up must really be a special car to you.

Thanks Josh. Glad you bought the car and glad it met your expectations. The vintage community is a small one. Glad to see the car stay in the circle. I bought the car to keep and never expected my old E28 stroker to pop up for sale. I'ts pretty tasty. Here you go http://www.flickr.com/photos/29732060@N07/sets/72157627038029278/

More former BMW's than it is possible to list.

>>If you aren't already, get on one of the E30tech or Rv3limited forums. Congrats on your purchase - beautiful E30 and it must have been a satisfying drive back home.
